Agent 02 of nine · Compliance · The survey you were ready for.
CareBravo®’s Compliance agent is AI EVV and compliance software for Medicaid home and community based care agencies. The tap is the visit record the state wants. A person confirms anything that moves money or changes care.
The work we carry
EVV, credentials and authorizations worked daily.
The bravo you keep
The surveyor is a visit, not a fear.
We email you the highlights the moment you ask. No call. Nobody calls unless you ask.

On the office screen: An EVV exception, explained in plain words, with the fix drafted for your Go ahead.
Why your current app can’t
Your EVV app sends the visit to the state and gives you a code when it fails. Decoding the code, finding the shift, fixing it and resending is your Thursday. Credentials live in a folder, authorizations in a spreadsheet, and the surveyor asks for all of it on the same morning.
What the Compliance agent makes from the tap
The tap is the visit record the state wants. When the state rejects one, the Compliance agent turns the code into a plain sentence, drafts the fix, and resubmits tonight after your Go ahead. Credentials, authorizations and the audit pack are kept from the same records, so the survey is ready before anyone asks.
CareBravo is the Autonomous Care OS®: an operating system for Medicaid home and community based care, with an AI agent built into each of nine jobs. It starts as the EVV your state approved. Then it does the office work from the caregiver’s one tap at the door. How the whole thing works
An owner’s exact words, answered on the screen, three ways to have it done.
Owner asks
Your biller opens EVV exceptions, reads the rejection in plain words, enters the fix with the reason, and resubmits.
Your biller fixed it in one screen.Cary drafts the fix in plain words, with the pattern beneath it: how often, which caregiver, which client. You tap Go ahead and it goes back in tonight’s batch.
Resubmitted tonight, after your Go ahead.Owner asks
Open the audit pack, pick the period, and see ten clients drawn at random with the gaps named per client.
One place.Cary puts the requests for each gap in front of the nurse and builds one PDF. You send the requests.
Everything the program’s rules say should exist, in one place.Yes. Several home care systems now use AI for EVV and compliance, mostly in scheduling and billing, and in most of them the AI suggests while your office does the work. In CareBravo, the Compliance agent does the work inside rules you write once: The tap is the visit record the state wants. It is one of nine agents, one for every job in the office, coordinated by Cary. A person confirms anything that moves money or changes care. CareBravo’s AI runs inside our HIPAA safeguards. Your clients’ records are not sent to public frontier AI models.
Cary drafts and you confirm; nothing leaves until you do. For an incident, CareBravo shows the deadlines as a countdown and drafts the notice. You send it.
CCSP, SOURCE, NOW, COMP, ICWP and Georgia Families. The program is a filter on the audit pack, and the requirement sets follow each program’s manual.
Anything that changes money or care waits for you. There is no setting that removes the confirm.
Authorized hours are what the state or plan approved for the client. Scheduled hours are what you put on the calendar. You can only bill up to the authorized amount, so schedule inside it. CMS lists billing more units than the plan allows as a common error that leads to improper payment. Read the full answer
Let caregivers swap only with someone trained and cleared for that client, and have a person in your office approve it before the visit. Georgia’s private home care rule says no personal care assistant may be assigned a task before required training and a competency check are done. Update the schedule so the visit record matches who really went. Read the full answer
EVV (electronic visit verification) is a record, made when the visit happens, that shows who gave which service to whom, where, on what date, and when it started and ended. The 21st Century Cures Act requires it for Medicaid personal care services, and states set the details. In Georgia, PSS agencies must use it. Read the full answer
In Georgia, an administrator can enter the missed clock-in or clock-out by hand in the EVV portal. A reason code is required. Use the real times, ask the caregiver what happened, and keep a note. Fixing it the same day is much easier than fixing it weeks later when the claim is rejected. Read the full answer
Federal law says EVV must verify six things: the type of service, who received it, the date, where it was given, who gave it, and when it started and ended. Georgia’s EVV page lists the same items. States pick the system, but all of them must capture these six. Read the full answer
