Which Georgia services need EVV, and what happened on September 14, 2026 for home health?

Georgia requires EVV for personal support services and community living supports under the CCSP, SOURCE, ICWP, NOW, COMP and GAPP programs. Home health care services joined later. DCH’s mandatory go-live for fee-for-service home health was September 14, 2026, and its news page says implementation is complete.

EVV in Georgia covers two groups.

  1. Personal care services. These are billed with codes such as T1019 (Personal Support Services), T2025 (Elderly and Disabled Waiver and ICWP personal support and community living support), and S9122 (NOW and COMP personal care). GAPP skilled nursing, aide and therapy codes are also listed. Some waiver services, such as adult day health and alternative living, were left out in the state’s FAQ.
  2. Home health care services (HHCS), billed under class of service 200, specialty 088 (Home Health Agency). Physician orders are required.

Home health dates from DCH:

  1. Soft go-live: August 31, 2026.
  2. Mandatory EVV: claims for home health dates of service on or after September 14, 2026.
  3. DCH’s news page for September 14, 2026 says EVV implementation for fee-for-service HHCS providers is complete.
  4. On October 6, 2026, DCH reminded home health agencies that visit records must include referring physician information.

If you bill any of these codes and are not sure your agency is registered, check with the DCH EVV team (evv.medicaid@dch.ga.gov) before your next claim.
