How do I enroll as a Georgia Medicaid provider in GAMMIS, and what is revalidation?
You apply in the GAMMIS web portal using the Enrollment Wizard. Fill in each panel, write down your Application Tracking Number, upload every required document, and accept the attestations. Georgia also asks enrolled providers to revalidate. A May 2026 alert said providers who did not revalidate would be suspended on July 1, 2026.
Georgia Medicaid enrollment runs through the GAMMIS web portal (mmis.georgia.gov). The portal guide lists these steps:
- Log in and open the Enrollment Wizard under Provider Enrollment.
- Start a new Provider Enrollment Application.
- Fill in each panel in order. Panels include provider specialty, address, licenses, disclosure of ownership, payee, insurance and work history.
- Write down the Application Tracking Number (ATN) shown mid-way. You need it to check status.
- Upload every required document. The submit button will not work until you do.
- Accept the attestations and submit. Save the PDF copy.
You can check progress on the portal’s status page with your ATN and business name.
Revalidation: a May 25, 2026 alert on the portal said providers who had not revalidated would be suspended effective July 1, 2026, and claims for dates of service on or after that date would not be paid. A provider not revalidated within 30 days of a suspension notice would be terminated. It also said retroactive enrollment is not permitted.
If your account shows suspended, call the Provider Services Contact Center (1-800-766-4456) right away.
