CareBravo® vs SwyftOps: who does the work after the tap?
Short answer: SwyftOps suits home care organizations. CareBravo suits single-location Medicaid home care owners who want an AI agent doing each of nine jobs from one tap at the door, with a person confirming anything that moves money or care.

| SwyftOps | CareBravo | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Home care organizations: independent agencies, franchise networks, registries, facility-based and multi-location operators in the US and Canada. | Medicaid home and community based care owners, single location, from first clients up. Personal Support Services and case management now; Personal Care Homes and Adult Day Health next. |
| EVV | Own caregiver app captures clock-in/out, location and services. | The caregiver’s tap at the door. Sends to the state’s system where required. Listed by Georgia DCH as an EVV vendor. Rejections come back explained. |
| Payroll | Not native payroll processing. | The timesheet and payroll file are made from the tap, for your payroll company. |
| Billing | Billing and invoicing in-platform. | Claims built from checked shifts; every denial worked. Managed Billing adds our specialists and a written 99% guarantee. |
| AI | Yes (site last modified June 2026): Swyfty chat assistant answering questions on schedules, tasks, caregivers and clients; Social History Assessment Summaries (including voice-to-structured input); AI-Driven Care Planning from completed assessments; In-Home Visibility daily service summaries; Revenue Forecasting; Shifts-at-Risk Forecast; Scheduling AI shift matching; Message Assistant that flags likely call-offs for office review. | An AI agent in each of nine jobs, coordinated by Cary®. Works inside rules you write once. A person confirms anything that moves money or changes care; the nurse signs. Runs inside our HIPAA safeguards. |
| Switching | No fixed timeline published. | The Parallel Promise™: two weeks beside your current system on real data; nothing switches until the numbers match. |
We don’t compare software prices, because the software is not what you are paying for. You are paying for the work after the tap, and who does it. Our prices are all published on Pricing.
SwyftOps facts are from its own published materials and trade press, checked 28 Oct 2026. Sources are listed below. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it.
What SwyftOps does well
- Usage-based pricing with unlimited clients, caregivers and users included; vendor says fees start as low as $100 a month with no registration or set-up fees.
- 24/7/365 live-person customer support, stated on its own site (and praised in the single Software Advice user review, labelled as user report).
- Broad EVV aggregator connections listed by the vendor: HHAeXchange, Sandata, Netsmart and Therap (Software Advice listing also names CareBridge and AuthentiCare).
- A named set of AI tools (Swyfty assistant, AI care-plan generation from assessments, shifts-at-risk forecast, revenue forecasting, scheduling match).
Where the work still lands on you
- Payroll is not run inside SwyftOps: the office exports hours by flat file or API to a separate payroll provider (Paychex, Viventium or others), and QuickBooks Payroll is not supported.
- Electronic claims go through an optional add-on clearinghouse (SwyftClaim, powered by Optum); full revenue cycle management is a separate partner (Paradigm), not SwyftOps staff.
- The AI Message Assistant flags likely call-offs, but the office still reviews the flag and reassigns or opens the shift.
- Implementation timing depends on the agency’s own data migration, integrations and payer setup, and data migration may cost extra.
That last column is the pattern we call Tangleware™: good tools, and an owner in the middle, retyping between them. It is not a judgment about SwyftOps. It is what happens when the visit has to be carried by hand from one system to the next.
Which one is right for you.
SwyftOps may fit if
Home care organizations: independent agencies, franchise networks, registries, facility-based and multi-location operators in the US and Canada. Its own materials reference Medicaid, VA, private pay and long-term-care-insurance payers, plus an I/DD and habilitation module and a nurse-registry model. Historically strong with franchise systems (ComForCare/At Your Side, about 200 agencies; At Home Eldercare, 2021).
CareBravo fits if
You run a Medicaid home and community based care agency, you are the one in the middle of the apps, and you want the hours back for your clients or your family.
For a Medicaid-heavy single-location owner, SwyftOps is an affordable, well-supported scheduling-and-EVV hub with real AI features, but payroll and full billing work still pass through separate vendors and her office’s hands.

Does SwyftOps use AI?
Yes (site last modified June 2026): Swyfty chat assistant answering questions on schedules, tasks, caregivers and clients; Social History Assessment Summaries (including voice-to-structured input); AI-Driven Care Planning from completed assessments; In-Home Visibility daily service summaries; Revenue Forecasting; Shifts-at-Risk Forecast; Scheduling AI shift matching; Message Assistant that flags likely call-offs for office review.
How is CareBravo’s AI different?
Other home care software uses AI for parts of the work: a caregiver match, a drafted note, a claim check. CareBravo runs an integrated AI workforce: an agent for each of the nine jobs a Medicaid office does, coordinated by Cary, from one tap at the door. Of the home care software on our AI comparison page, checked 28 Oct 2026, none has an agent for all nine. CareBravo’s AI runs inside our HIPAA safeguards. Your clients’ records are not sent to public frontier AI models.
