Several states use AuthentiCare — Kansas, Arkansas (for PCS), New Hampshire, and New Mexico among them. What distinguishes New Mexico is the state mandate: New Mexico requires direct use of AuthentiCare's own capture interfaces, not just submission to the AuthentiCare aggregator. In open-model AuthentiCare states, agencies can use a third-party mobile app or telephony system that submits to AuthentiCare. In New Mexico, caregivers must use AuthentiCare's specific tools.
Practically, this means every caregiver must be provisioned in AuthentiCare with the correct service types and client assignments. Every visit starts with a caregiver calling AuthentiCare's telephony number or opening AuthentiCare's mobile app. Profile errors — incorrect service codes, wrong client assignments, misconfigured visit types — generate exceptions on every single visit until corrected.
CareBravo manages the AuthentiCare setup, caregiver provisioning, exception monitoring, and resolution workflow as delivered operational work for New Mexico agencies.
